HAWKS ADD SAWA TO LINE-UP.....

NIPAWIN, SK. - The Nipawin Hawks have picked up 17-year-old forward Matt Sawa from the Estevan Bruins for future considerations.
Sawa was drafted in the 3rd round of the WHL Bantam Draft by the Regina Pats in 2002. Matt has already played 17-games in the Western Hockey League.
The 6'1", 190 Ibs forward scored 4-goals and 15-assists in 39-games with the Regina 'AAA' Pat Canadians last season. He also played 'AAA' as a fifteen year-old and scored 7-goals and 11-assists in 43-games.
It's expected Sawa will be in the line-up for the Hawks when they open their season tonight against the Melfort Mustangs.
SJHL REGULAR SEASON KICKS OFF TONIGHT...

REGINA, SK. - Five games kick off tonight's schedule in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.
